Zum Zahler in Lahr

When I was a guest at "zum Zahler" for the first time, it was clear to me that I would definitely be coming back here. The delicious salad alone is a huge plus. I pay close attention to good dressings and I am happy to say that this is one of the best in Lahr. Now in times of Corona, I think it's important to support our favorite restaurants. It would be a shame if we weren't allowed to enjoy something so delicious anymore. If you don't give a good rating here, you probably only know fast food chains. Please continue. Great food, friendly service and thank you for being there for us during the lockdown. Lg

Nice service but that's all ... There were four of us there, there was no rump steak, neither was pork steak (everything is on the menu) then after a long look took the third choice. Salad was totally sandy, meat was dry ... All 4 of us were very dissatisfied. Corona rules are a foreign word for the restaurant, not even 1m away from other guests, no contact details are recorded (the WKD, the BG and the public order office should drop by more often). As I said, the service was nice ...

Very good food with good Lasser-Bräu, friendly and perfect service. Attractive design of the inner courtyard. Outdoor dining very pleasant. All good things urge repetition, so we will visit the payer again and recommend him to others.

Visited on 08/29/20. Eaten Zeus plate and Strasbourg sausage salad. Both very good. The music in the beer garden was in my opinion. too loud.

Unfortunately not Corona compliant. Tables are barely disinfected, some of the wait staff does not even wear a mask, and no data is collected. Didn't feel safe there. Food is passed on at a ... Otherwise, the food was delicious, even if we had to be patient. The lamb was excellent, as were the fish plates. I would have liked a little more seasoned dip for the fish and the calamares. When it gets safer again, I'll be happy to come back.

After two hours of waiting, the children were too impatient and we left. Appreciation only rules defiantly and far from being accommodating or even apologizing for the inconvenience. It's a shame, but it was our first and last visit. Unfortunately the waitresses were not very friendly and accommodating from the start.

The food looked very good from afar. But since we had to wait 2 hours for the food and had two small children with us, we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Unfortunately, the waitress only gave a snappy reaction instead of an apology. We'd better not go there anymore.

Normally I would describe in detail what was going on and why I only give one star. Abbreviation: waited 2 hours for the food, got nothing, went to the kebab.

The food was good. The service terminals are probably just decoration. 5.30 p.m. at the table finished with everything at 20.12 p.m., probably without a starter. The service should work on itself.

Friendly service, fast service, nice outside area, good price performance

So point 1. We had to wait 1 hour for a starter (1 salad) the main dish had taken over an hour until it was with us. Point 2. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. Cutlery is touched, the drinking glasses are handed over at the edge of the drinking glass. Tables are not cleaned properly either. Point 3. The food tastes good but the french fries have a taste of fish. The slim blonde waitress is very friendly and tried very hard to save the evening. Corona point: The corona contact details were not asked for, so we were officially never there. Ps: We sat at table 2 on July 26th, 2020

All very good and freshly prepared. Generous portions. Different beer specialties. Cheap wine. Open environment (Biergarten). Friendly service ... But unfortunately very slow ... we waited about 90 minutes to receive the food.

A Greek restaurant with German influence ... the service was as always very friendly, the food came quickly, was of good quality and very tasty! Since the portions are very powerful, everyone is guaranteed to be full! My conclusion; A visit is definitely worth it! ???

You can eat very well at the counter. The waitresses are very friendly. You would love to come back!

Hello, we have been several times as guests in the inn payer in Lahr. Due to the fact that the food here is especially good, and the conditions are always more than friendly, we therefore write a slightly more detailed rating It must be said that the portions are always very large, and always with a more than good quality. Have already advertised everywhere, and all colleagues and family ever taken, all were thrilled. Even though this text may sound very close, I can only say one thing; Go, try it and you will not be disappointed! That's why 5/5 stars, more is not possible;)

Good portions and tasty food, but took 2hrs from ordering the food to having it served despite complaining after 1hr.

Restaurant that still serves after 21:00, a cozy place ... Very nice service. Food was also particularly good and unlike the usual Greeks ... Have a great long evening spent ... we were consistently very nice). We will be back definitely.

Lovely rustic biergarten with friendly service and a casual atmosphere. Great alternative to 'downtown'.
